Dario is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who earned his master’s degree at California State University Dominquez Hills. Dario also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Southern California and is currently a Doctoral Candidate at Pacifica Graduate Institute.
Dario is a Certified Domestic Violence Counselor as well as a Master Addictions Counselor.
Dario was also an Associate Professor at California State University Dominquez Hills and taught Introduction to Alcoholism for eight years.

Dario is currently in private practice as well as the CFO/ Founder of Harbor Area Counseling Services Inc, a Non-profit Counseling center in the city of San Pedro, CA.

Dario has worked in the social services field for over twenty-five years. In the past he served for over ten years as the Clinic Director for an Adolescent and Adult Substance Abuse Treatment program, as well as serving on the management teams of several different organizations which include, a residential facility for disabled children, a Mental Health/Substance Abuse Assessment Center, an Educational/Job Advocacy Program.
